The Mittag-Leffler condition in analysis
Jochen Wengenroth (University of Trier)
Abstract: Homological algebraists have stolen the Mittag-Leffler condition for projective systems as a tool to calculate, e.g., cohomologies or derived functors.
On the occasion of Gösta Mittag-Leffler's 175th birthday in two weeks, we try to explain the origin and some applications of his condition in functional analysis.

Additive categories between algebra and functional analysis
Series comments: Aims & Scope: Exchange ideas and foster collaboration between researchers from representation theory and functional analysis working on categorical aspects of the theory. In addition to research talks, there will be four mini-courses of introductory character.
